MEALS

Meals are delivered daily by Cygnet Catering. An order form is sent out to all parents before the end of each term. 

Cygnet meals can be ordered & paid for in advance per half term or per week. 

Weekly meal orders must be handed in to the school office by 9.00am Wednesday of the previous week

The cost of school meals is £1.85 per day. If you think your child may be entitled to free school meals please contact Mrs Slaght - Head Teacher.

PACKED LUNCH

Alternatively parents may provide their child with a packed lunch from home.

What to include :- 1 portion of vegetable or salad & 1 portion of fruit e.g carrot sticks, cherry tomatoes, raisins, grapes. 1 portion of a milk or dairy item e.g cheese cubes, yoghurt, fromage frais. 1 portion of a meat or filling e.g chicken, fish, tuna, eggs or other protein source. 1 portion of starchy food such as  bread, pasta, rice. Water, milk, pure fruit juice or yoghurt drinks.

What to avoid :- confectionary e.g chocolate covered biscuits or bars, sweets. Crisps, cheese biscuits. Manufactured meat e.g sausage rolls, reformed chicken pieces. Deep fried products e.g doughnuts, potatoe shapes. Sweetened or fizzy drinks.  

MILK

Milk is available in school and is supplied by Cool Milk at School. Parents deal directly with the company but forms are available in the school office.

FRUIT

A piece of fruit is provided for each child daily for tuck. Parents may send in fruit from home. 

Unfortunately due to delivery restrictions parents are asked to send a piece of fruit from home for the first day or two after a school holiday for their child. Full details are given in the newsletter prior to each holiday.
