PARENTS AND FRIENDS ASSOCIATION GAMES AFTERNOON –
SATURDAY 27 MARCH FROM 2.00-4.00PM AT THE INFANT SCHOOL
The children have brought home information from the Parents and Friends Association about the Games Afternoon. The PFA use the funds they raise to make contributions towards purchases and events for the children such as the Christmas pantomime and party.
All the children have brought home raffle tickets and I hope you will be able to sell them and return the counterfoils and money to the school by Thursday 25 March. All unsold tickets must be returned to the school by the same date.
The PFA would be grateful to receive donations of cakes for the cake stall and refreshments and these can be brought to school on Friday or Saturday.
On Saturday there will be a table top sale, a raffle, guess the weight of the cake, a lucky dip and games such as beanbags in a bucket, beat the buzzer, beat the goalie . . . and lots more. If you would like to help on the day this would be very much appreciated, even if it is only for an hour - please see Mrs Boyles or Mrs Lepore and they will pass your name on to the PFA Committee.
The Committee have worked hard over the past few weeks organising this annual event. We hope that you and your family will be able to support them by coming on Saturday and helping to make it an enjoyable afternoon for all.
