Dear Parents
Welcome back to everyone after the Easter holiday and we look forward to a warm, sunny term. For those who had difficulty with their travels we hope this did not spoil the enjoyment of your holiday.
On Wednesday 28 April the children will meet the popular children’s author, Paul Geraghty, who will talk to them about how he writes and illustrates his books. Some of his books will be available for sale after school and he will be happy to sign them.
We have been asked to advise you that there have been reports of a male indecently exposing himself in Queen’s Park. If you should see him please ring 999 immediately, say where in the park you are and the time the incident happened giving relevant information eg description and clothes.
Offender description summary from the police:
A white male, tanned
30-60 years, most descriptions give 40+
5’ 7”-5’ 11” tall
Medium – chubby build, beer belly often mentioned
Grey hair (short/receding in some, hat often worn)
Grey unshaven/stubble/short beard (mentioned in three cases)
Clothing summary:
Beanie hat – black/dark blue/grey
Blue shiny tracksuit
Navy sweatshirt with white slogan on chest
Navy jogging bottoms
Dark fleece
Green t shirt
White t shirt
Six offences mention that the offender has a bicycle with him. This has been described as silver in one case and dark in two cases. One of the dark occasions states it is a racing bike with a basket on the front.
