 Dear Parents

ELECTION OF PARENT GOVERNOR - We would like to thank the four candidates who stood for the election, John Aldred, Steven Mwangi, Paul Salmon and Phillip Paton.  The elected candidate was Phillip Paton.  The names of the other Governors can be found on the school website.

PARENTS AND FRIENDS ASSOCIATION (PFA) SPONSORED SILENCE The Sponsored Silence will take place in school on Friday 19 November.  If your child has not brought home his/her sponsor form, please ask Mrs Boyles or Mrs Lepore for another copy.

 AFTER-SCHOOL CLUBS AND WYVERN THEATRE PANTOMIME Please send in payments for the clubs and pantomime contributions if you have not already done so.  It would be helpful if this term’s payments/contributions could be received by Friday 19 November.

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION TUESDAY AND THURSDAY 7 AND 9 DECEMBER: 

Ned’s Christmas Discovery’.

Parents will be asked to provide costumes and a letter will be coming home to let you know what your child will need. 

The Celebration will take place in Holy Rood Church at 1.30pm on Tuesday 7 December and Thursday 9 December and you are invited to attend on one day as follows (all children will take part on both days):

Tuesday 7 December - Classes 1 and 3 and Reception Groups Badgers and Kingfishers;

Thursday 9 December - Classes 2 and 4 and Reception Group Owls.

Unfortunately individual photos/videos cannot be made by parents/friends in the church. 

A collection will be taken each day after the Service for Mission Together, the charity whose motto is ‘Children Helping Children’.  The children will return to school after the Service and you will then be able to collect them from their classroom.

Holy Rood Rainbow Guides currently have vacancies for girls aged 5-7 years.  For more information please go to the Holy Rood Church Parish Room on a Monday evening during term time at 5.30pm.

16th Swindon Brownies currently have vacancies for girls aged 7-10 years.  Meetings are held on Mondays during term time at the Immanuel Church, Upham Road between 6pm and 7.30pm.  For more information please contact Pascale Philippe on 01793 638672.
